Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hogarsy ("Hogarsy", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Hogarsy websites and mobile applications (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: email address, and (when you complete your profile) first and last name, display name, country, date of birth, and an optional avatar.
- Content you submit: photos of spaces you upload, text prompts you write, and the AI-generated images produced from them.
- Payment information: when you buy credits, payment is processed by PayPal. We receive a transaction record (order ID, payer ID, amount, currency, and the credits granted). We do not collect or store your full card or bank details — those are handled by PayPal.
- Communications: messages you send us (e.g., support requests).
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: transformations you create, items detected, product searches, credit transactions, and notification activity.
- Device & technical data: IP address, device/browser type, and, on mobile, a push-notification token (FCM) if you enable notifications.
- Cookies & analytics: our website uses Google Analytics and necessary cookies (see Section 6).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service, including generating AI images from your uploads and prompts;
- To process credit purchases and prevent fraud and abuse (e.g., blocking disposable-email signups that farm free credits);
- To send transactional messages (password reset codes, payment confirmations, welcome and account notices) and, if enabled, push notifications;
- To maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. AI Processing of Your Photos and Prompts
To generate your designs, the photos and prompts you submit are transmitted to and processed by our third-party AI provider, Replicate, whose servers are located in the United States. We send only what is needed to produce your Output. Outputs are stored in your private storage area so you can view, download, or delete them.
4. How We Share Information & Sub-Processors
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers ("sub-processors") that help us run the Service, each bound to protect it and use it only on our instructions:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Legal Bases (where applicable)
Where data-protection laws apply, we process your information to perform our contract with you (to provide the Service), based on your consent (e.g., push notifications and analytics cookies), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service), and to comply with legal obligations.
6. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember preferences, and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (e.g., page views and general device/region information). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Learn more about Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or your account, we delete the associated data from our active systems, subject to routine backups and any retention required by law. Some providers (e.g., AI or payment processors) may retain limited records under their own policies.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:
- edit your profile information in the app;
- delete generated images and uploaded photos;
- turn push notifications on or off in your device settings;
- request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — including account deletion — by emailing [email protected].
We will respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level security that restricts each user's data to their own account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
We and our sub-processors operate globally, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in these locations.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
